Community Services
Welcome to Valley Crossroads Community Services
At Valley Crossroads Seventh-day Adventist Church, we believe in serving our community with compassion, dedication, and love. Our robust Community Service ministry has been a cornerstone of our community, particularly during challenging times such as the recent pandemic.
The Bible says, “He answered and said to them, ‘He who has two tunics, let him give to him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise.'”
– Luke 3:11
We understand that it is important to meet the needs of those around us. We aim to be an example of Jesus Christ through our service!

Annual Thanksgiving Day Feed
Every Thanksgiving, we open our doors to the community for our annual Thanksgiving Day Feed. This cherished event offers a home-cooked traditional dinner to 350-500 individuals. In addition to the meal, we provide food and clothing giveaways and deliver carry-out meals to the homeless and residents of nearby housing projects. This event embodies our commitment to sharing love and support with our neighbors.
Ongoing Community Outreach
Our outreach extends beyond the pandemic. We have struggled to regain some pre-pandemic activities, such as nursing home visitations and homeless outreach, but we remain steadfast in our efforts. Our church continues to average 60-75 congregants weekly, with numbers rising to 100-130 during special Sabbath activities.
