FAMILY LIFE AT VALLEY CROSSROADS
Family life can be beautiful.
It can also be complicated.
There are joyful seasons, stressful seasons, growing seasons, and seasons when everyone is simply trying to make it through the week.
Valley Crossroads wants to be a church where families can grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, receive encouragement, and remember that they do not have to navigate life alone.

Families come in different shapes, stories, and seasons.
Wherever your family is starting, you do not have to pretend.
Church should be a place where families can experience grace, truth, encouragement, and real relationships.
Yes - Valley Crossroads welcomes families, including families in every season.
Faith grows in everyday life.
Around the table.
In the car.
During bedtime prayers.
In hard conversations.
When someone needs forgiveness.
When a family makes a difficult decision.
When children ask questions.
When teenagers wrestle with what they believe.
When families serve someone together.
Church should help families carry faith into the rest of the week.
Sabbath can help families slow down, reconnect, worship, and rest together.

Sabbath gives families a different rhythm from the pressure of everyday life.
A rhythm of:

Children should know they are loved by God, valued by their church, and part of the church family today.
We want children to experience biblical truth, meaningful relationships, encouragement, and joy as they grow.

Teenagers need space to ask honest questions, build meaningful relationships, discover what they believe, and learn how faith connects to real life.
We want youth to know their voice, gifts, questions, and faith matter.

Parenting and caregiving carry real responsibility.
Church should come alongside families with encouragement, biblical truth, prayer, meaningful relationships, and a community that reminds parents they do not have to carry every burden by themselves.

Healthy family life needs more than programs.
People need people.
Children need caring adults beyond their parents.
Teenagers need trusted voices.
Parents need encouragement.
Young adults need relationships.
Older adults need meaningful connection and opportunities to pour into others.
A healthy church becomes a place where generations know, encourage, learn from, pray for, and serve alongside one another.
You do not have to do family life alone.
Valley Crossroads aims to be a multigenerational church community where families can belong.
Families experience pressure.
Relationships become strained.
Parents get tired.
Children struggle.
Teenagers go through difficult seasons.
Grief enters a home.
Unexpected decisions have to be made.
Faith can feel harder than it once did.
In those moments, you should not have to disappear.
Valley Crossroads wants to be a place where people can reach out, ask for prayer, receive encouragement, and know that someone cares.

Serving together helps faith become tangible.
Children see compassion in action.
Teenagers discover that their gifts matter.
Adults model generosity.
Families learn that following Jesus includes caring about people beyond themselves.
When opportunities are available, we want families to discover meaningful ways to serve through Valley Crossroads.
We’re looking forward to more opportunities for families to worship, connect, grow, and enjoy life together.

The pace of family life can become relentless.
Work. • School. • Schedules. • Practices. • Appointments. • Responsibilities. • Screens. • Deadlines.
Sabbath reminds us that our worth is not measured by how much we accomplish.
It gives families time to worship, rest, reconnect, slow down, and remember what matters most.
There is still a place where your soul can rest.
Sabbath is a practical gift: a weekly rhythm of rest and worship that can strengthen family life.

Your family does not need to have everything figured out.
Come worship.
Meet some people.
Bring your children.
Bring your teenager.
Bring your questions.
Let your family experience Valley Crossroads at your own pace.
Sometimes a stronger family connection begins with one Sabbath and one conversation.
