Valley Crossroads Seventh-day Adventist Church is a vibrant, multigenerational family rooted in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. We are an authentic community of everyday people grounded in Scripture, pursuing Jesus with wholehearted devotion, and extending radical hospitality to everyone who walks through our doors.

Valley Crossroads has been shaped by faith, resilience, community, and a deep commitment to sharing the love of Jesus.
Our congregation carries the warmth, worship, family connection, and spiritual depth of the Black church experience while welcoming people from across the San Fernando Valley.
Like every real community, we have experienced seasons of change.
Through every season, our calling remains clear:
- Help people know Jesus.
- Help people grow.
- Help people heal.
- Help people find community.
- Help people discover how God can use their lives to serve others.
Our story is not only about where we have been.

God created a rhythm that reminds us we are more than what we produce.

We want children, parents, young adults, adults, and elders to experience church as a spiritual family.

Our discipleship framework is straightforward, deeply intentional, and designed to move every individual from discovery to meaningful kingdom leadership.
PHASE 01
WIN.
Meeting people exactly where they are with the unconditional grace of Jesus Christ. We engage our neighbors and city through genuine, barrier-free relationships and radical hospitality.
PHASE 02
MEND.
Cultivating healing, restoration, and identity through biblical discipleship and Sabbath community. We walk together to bind up spiritual wounds and nurture lasting emotional wholeness.
PHASE 03
SEND.
Commissioning mature disciples to live as active agents of compassion and biblical hope in their workplaces, local neighborhoods, and global callings.

Dr. Roscoe Shields, Jr. serves as Lead Pastor of Valley Crossroads, helping lead our congregation toward deeper faith, stronger community, spiritual growth, and greater mission.
